Universal Announces SecureRisks UAE in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

SecureRisks UAE will coordinate security activities for the region from
its offices in the Emirates Towers in Dubai. SecureRisks is the only security
consulting company currently licensed in the Emirates by the Dubai Police
Department of Protective Systems to provide a full range of corporate security
services to the government and private sector in the Emirates.

Middle East Regional Director Gerry Cummings will serve as Managing
Director SecureRisks UAE and oversee SecureRisks security services for
government and multi-national interests throughout the Middle East region. In
obtaining this license to operate a security management consulting company in
the Emirates, Mr. Cummings noted that "both the police and UAE Government were quick to recognize the importance in having qualified and experienced security experts to provide advice and assistance to governmental and private sector interests during a period of rapid growth and demographic change. Our range of services will not only enhance the security environment for our clients,
but will complement and assist the tremendous work being done by the Emirates
police and security officials".

Mr. Cummings was formerly the Director General of the Communications
Branch and Deputy Director General of the Counter-Terrorism Branch of the
Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and prior to that a member of
the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. In 1993, he was posted to the Canadian
High Commission in London as the head of the Service's liaison office where he
worked for five years prior to taking his retirement. Mr. Cummings joined the
Corporate Security Department of SmithKline Beecham in London, leaving as the Director of the Department in 2001 to pursue a career in the security
consultancy industry.
